Situated in one of Kärnten’s most picturesque areas you will find the Frido Kordon Hütte. An ideal start out point for all outdoor activities. Follow one of the many signposted routes to the summits (Stubeck 2.370m, Reitereck 2.785m, Torscharte 2.016m). Trek or cycle through the forest routes with carefully planned pathways. Refresh your senses with the tingling freshness of the mountain air.

The Frido Kordon Hütte is easy reachable and suitable for all vehicles. The warm friendly atmosphere at the Frido Kordon Hütte makes it an unforgettable outing for all the family. Sample one the of the freshly prepared local specialities at one of the lively barbeque evenings with singing and dancing. Overnight accommodation also available.

Located at 1.700m above sea level. Relax and enjoy the warm summer weather on the terrace or by the tiled oven for a warm cosy feeling. A wide selection of mountain walks nearby makes it ideal for all fitness levels. Enjoy the freshly prepared products with specialities including “Kärntner Nudeln, Kaiserschmarn, Leberknödelsuppe”. In summer sample the delicious fresh “Forelle” (trout). In the winter months the “Roast Ribs” with sauerkraut and potatoes are a must! To avoid dissapointment pre-ordering is highly recommended. We are happy to be able to cater for birthday parties, family events and Christmas parties.
