Annually produced cultural programme – Cultural Calendar

For many years now the annual event program for the town has been produced in the form of a wall calendar. One side of the calendar is dedicated to the cultural events and features which will take place on a month by month basis. On the opposite side is a photo or a piece of art work from one of our many local or visiting artists. From the beginning of March to the end of February the following year the calendar is in the planning to production phase. It is then distributed to all the businesses and inhabitants in the town as well as the neighbouring towns, Malta, Eisentratten, Trebesing and the general Lieser/Maltatal region. The county offices and official offices in Klagenfurt and other major cities in Austria also receive the annual calendar. The cost, from production to the final phase of distribution, is financed by advertisements placed in the calendar. The calendar can also be ordered online.

Publication of the artists catlogues

The artists who reside in Gmünd working and living in the guest studios produce a catalogue for the opening of their exhibitions. These brochures feature the work which they have produced during their stay here in Gmünd. For the young and new artists these brochures are an integral part of their portfolios.

Month Program

The monthly “What’s on…” program is greatly received by all recipients. The program details events and activities which take place on a monthly basis.

Invitations and Posters

The various printed posters which can be seen from many of the poster stands in Gmünd are produced to complement our other printed materials.
